TweetXDelete ("we", "us", "our") is an independent web service. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use TweetXDelete at tweetxdelete.com. The short version: we collect almost nothing and store even less.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your X (Twitter) password
- Your tweet content
- Your X account data or follower information
- Any personal data beyond what is strictly necessary for authentication
3. Information We Collect
OAuth Tokens
When you sign in with X, we receive a temporary OAuth 2.0 access token. This token is used solely to perform deletion operations on your behalf during your active session. It is not stored on our servers after your session ends.
Usage Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, browser type, and general location. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management. Google AdSense may set advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use OAuth tokens exclusively to execute the tweet/like/retweet deletion operations you request. We do not analyze, sell, share, or use your X data for any other purpose.
5. Third-Party Services
- X (Twitter) API — Authentication and deletion operations
- Google AdSense — Display advertising to fund the free service
- Cloudflare — CDN, security, and performance
6. Data Retention
We do not retain any X account data, tweet data, or OAuth tokens after your session ends. Session data is purged when you log out or close your browser.
7. GDPR Rights (EU Users)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. Since we store virtually no personal data, most of these rights are inherently satisfied. For any requests, contact us at [email protected].
8. Children's Privacy
TweetXDelete is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
